Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3: Artwork and logo leaked
If the game’s leaks are to be believed, Activision’s next Call of Duty will indeed be Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. We can say thanks to Monster Energy energy drinks for the reveal.
Update: The leak is confirmed (with a hint of humor) by the official Call of Duty Twitter account.

A Twitter/X user, @algebra_sloth, revealed an upcoming promotion for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 in partnership with energy drink brand, Monster Energy Drinks. Even if we must remain cautious about this revelation, it is not the first time that the sequel to Modern Warfare 2 is mentioned since previous leaks, in particular broadcast on Twitter, were quickly blocked by Activision.

It is therefore very likely that the next FPS of the franchise will be a continuation developed by the Sledgehammer studio. The artwork does not tell us all the same some details, namely Captain Price as the protagonist. Some fans believe the face seen in the background is Vladimir Makarov, the recurring antagonist of the Modern Warfare series.
Last week, Activision said that “the development of this year’s annual release on PC and console is going well” and that the first details regarding this year’s game reveal will be announced during the Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 5 preview, so it would only be a matter of days or weeks before the official announcement.

More than in other years, Call of Duty has been the center of attention for the entire industry with the soap opera of the takeover of Activision Blizzard by Microsoft. We almost forget that the annual release is an event for millions of fans.
